When is a cleanser not a cleanser...?

So, good question: When is a cleanser not a cleanser...?

So, I know I'm going to sound like I'm blowing my own trumpet a little, but I love my Cleansing Balm. I was thinking though the other day about it and as much as it is AMAZING at removing make-up and cleansing, there are so many other uses for it too!

In case you don't know what it is or how to use it, my cleanser is a pure oil. That's it! No nasty chemicals, not harsh soaps, not weird emulsifiers - just pure oil!
When I designed it, I wanted to create a simple cleanser that didn't dry skins out or strip them of all their natural oils. I heard about oil based cleansers and thought I would give it a go at making one! After a LOT of trial and error, I developed The Cleansing Beauty Balm. It contains mango butter, cocoa butter, shea butter plus much more. I also use a range of essential oils in it including ginger, cedarwood and rosemary which give it a gorgeous 'zingy' scent.

To use, you just apply it onto your dry skin or over make-up (yes, I said over make-up!). Massage it into the skin and then remove with a nice warm flannel. No need to 'milk up' with water and it will not foam at all (anything that foams usually contains SLS which can be so drying on the skin). Once you have removed all traces of the product, pat your face dry and follow with some of The Face Cream.

Anyhoo,,, the best bit about this cleanser is what else it can do!

  • Dry/cracked heels? - Massage into your heels at bedtime, put on some cotton socks and wake up with lovely soft feet!
  • Dry cuticles? - Massage into cuticles as part of a hand treatment or before bedtime
  • Dry split ends? - Warm a small amount in your hands and apply to the ends of your hair before bedtime. The coconut oil and Rosemary essential oil can help to do wonders for your hair
  • Want glossy brows? Yep! Use the balm!
  • Got a burn? The chamomile and lavender essential oil will help soothe it
  • Achy muscles? The ginger and rosemary essential oils are very warming! Use to massage tight shoulders and backs!
So,.. in answer to the question...

When it's The Cleansing Beauty Balm!
